(wait for their answer...and then always respond:) Great, do you have a paper and a pen handy? What I'd like to do is ask you a few questions to get to know you a bit, and see if our company and what you're looking for might be a good match (These questions are a Guide - you do not need to ask all of them, they are just questions to help you learn more about them and develop a rapport with them) Would you tell me a little about what you currently do for a living? How long have you been doing that? What do you like about it? What do you dislike about your job? If you could change something, what would it be? Are you married, do you have kids? How long have you lived in _________? Where are you from originally? Do you have the capability of a home office, by that I mean phone and internet access? Are you thinking of supplementing you income or replacing it? How much would you like to make on a monthly basis? Have you ever been self employed or owned a home business before? Now, our company has quite a standard for the people we look to work with ...there's a lot of work on our part making sure people get the training and resources they need to be successful with their position - so it's important for us to really select people who are teachable and coachable and willing to apply themselves to be successful. They have been prepared to really help you get off to a fast start and all of them are really important so make sure that you don't skip and or rush through. Do all the assignments completely and in order. It will take you 3-4 hours to completely review the information. Please do not start talking to people until we do your business plan. There is a right and wrong way to approach people and we want to make sure that your know the right things to say. If you want to get your first paycheck this week then we need to do your business plan tomorrow.
